In 1996, the first albino gecko has been reported to hatch. Albino Gecko was given the name "Rosie" by his master. While there may have been born an albino gecko before Rosie, but Rosie was the first discovered and seen by humans. According to Rosie's owner, Rosie is sickly albino and died a year later. After Rosie died, the owner conduct more research on Rosie's brother and found that he has almost 70% chance of producing another albino geckos.

Then, the breed try to breed Bubba(Rosie's brother) with another geckos. He tried to produce more female geckos by setting up the temperature. Then he breed Bubba with its matured female offspring and more than 1000 eggs were produced. The result was quite impressive when around 10% of the eggs produce albino geckos and this variety of albino geckos called Trempler Albino in conjuction with Ron Templer(Rosie and Bubba owner).
